Our volunteers are the most crucial aspect of our success. They forfeit their time, their funds, their homes and their hearts to assist us. Their hard work, dedication and efforts are deeply appreciated. Unfortunately, there are more dogs in need than there are hours in the day to get all of the work done that is needed to save a life. We always need more volunteers.

We need volunteers to do evaluations, assist with transport, perform home visits, bathe dogs, pick up and deliver supplies and donations, help with fundraising endeavors, take dogs to training classes and vet appointments, assist with marketing and community awareness projects, and/or who are willing to lend a hand at our adoption events.

Most of all, we need volunteers who are willing and able to become foster parents to shelter dogs on death row until a forever home can be found. The opening of their hearts and homes to these dogs offers them that vital second chance at life, when frequently it is just hours before they are euthanized.

We provide all of the equipment necessary for our volunteers to succeed at being foster parents including veterinary care, crates, kennels (if needed), food, toys, leashes, collars and bowls. If a foster pup needs to work through a few quirks, we pay for training classes, too! Afterall, a well-behaved, well-socialized dog is essential to securing a happy homelife when they ultimately move on to their forever families.

We will work with you, and around your schedule, as best we can to allow you to make a difference "with" us -- not "for" us.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please fill in the form below and we will contact you shortly.
